Our History
T-time started in 2005 to provide a peer - to peer support group for transgender individuals in the Grand Strand. Since then, we also held events to raise awareness and acceptance in the wider LGBTQ and Cis communities. We hold an annual Transgender Day of Remembrance a Transgender Day of Visibility, participate in Prides and have group picnics and gatherings. T-time ofter partners with other non-profit organizations to fulfill our mission. In 2019, T-time Transgender Support became a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit. We have expanded and now have 2 adult (18+) support groups in Myrtle Beach and Florence. we also have T-time "Butterflies" Family & Youth facilitated group to server this growing segment of our community.
Purpose
Our mission is to promote the health and wellbeing of and to build the Transgender, Intersex and Gender Diverse community. To foster an environment of self acceptance, inclusion and equal rights. T-time provides regular support group meeting s, hold special events and advocates for Transgender persons and their community.
Our Commitment to Diversity
We welcome every member of the transgender, intersex, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming community. We also include their family, friends, and allies from among the cisgender community. We do not discriminate based on age, gender, sexual orientation, race, thnicity, disability, nationality, religion, etc.
